Every year at the Toronto Nightclub Awards we honour someone that made a mark in the vibrant nightlife our city has been known for around the world. This year, that honour falls upon Sako Dekirmendjian.
Sako Dekirmendjian is a prominent nightlife entrepreneur and influential figure, recognized for his significant contributions to Toronto’s nightlife and hospitality industry.
As a former partner of John Doe Group and now Kontrast Entertainment, he has been instrumental in establishing and managing several well-known venues throughout Toronto, enhancing the city’s vibrant nightlife scene.
He began his career as a promoter, cultivating relationships and attracting patrons to various venues across the city. Demonstrating a keen business acumen, he transitioned into club ownership and now co-owns several notable establishments and also owns and operate Exodus Las Vegas music festival for over 15 years.
